Resources for Teachers

A teacher is a life-long learner.  He/She is always looking for ways to improve in the classroom.  Statistics are continually showing that the number of ESL/ELL students in the United States are steadily increasing.  According the US Department of Education, in the 2001-2002 school year, 7.9% of all students enrolled in a public school system were receiving ELL services.  Theses statistics are not decreasing…they are increasing at a rapid pace.

Here is a list of books that will be helpful to a teacher as he/she educates oneself about the multicultural/multilingual classroom.
