Relating to Parents

Regardless of a child’s background, the involvement of his/her parent is very important to his/her educational success.  The way a teacher relates and communicates with the parents of the students in his/her room will have a lasting impact on the children and the parents.  Working with ELL and ESOL parents is something that teachers need to take seriously and handle with care.
